Most rods are composed of polyester resin and fiberglass. These composites can be formed into practically any shape by using the pultrusion process, it has the advantages of high mechanical strength, excellent electrical properties, flame retardant, corrosion resistance, arc resistance, dimensional stability,long life cycle etc.
